AI Can Read Between The Redacted Lines

— Jonah Perlin, a professor at Georgetown University Law Center, commenting on AI’s ability to piece together seemingly innocuous public information and uncover facts intended to remain hidden. As an example, the ABA Journal highlighted Above the Law’s use of two AI models to identify Judge Eleanor Ross from redacted judicial-misconduct documents in about 45 minutes, a task that once would have required hours of painstaking research.
