Lawyer Isn’t Close To The Most Impressive Thing On His Résumé

Ed. Note: Welcome to our daily feature Trivia Question of the Day!

Since the National Baseball Hall of Fame opened in 1936, it has enshrined roughly 346 players, managers, executives, and commissioners — and, by a recent tally, 11 of them were also lawyers. Who is the Hall of Fame manager with three World Series rings who picked up a law degree and bar admission along the way, even though he never hung out a shingle?

Hint: He won it all with the Oakland A’s and the St. Louis Cardinals, earned his law degree at Florida State, and in 2009, briefly made legal headlines of his own by suing Twitter over a fake account using his name.

See the answer on the next page.
