Once a nomination or application is received, our Selection Committee conducts a thorough evaluation based on a comprehensive set of criteria:

Professional Experience: Consideration of the candidate’s years of practice, areas of specialization, and notable casework or legal contributions.
Ethical Standards: Verification of the candidate’s adherence to ethical practices, including a review of any disciplinary records or professional conduct reports.
Peer Recognition: Evaluation of endorsements, testimonials, or awards from fellow legal professionals that attest to the candidate’s reputation and impact within the legal community.
Community Engagement: Examination of the candidate’s involvement in pro bono work, legal education, mentorship, or other activities that contribute positively to society and the advancement of the legal profession.
Step 3. Final Deliberation and Admission
Following the interview, the Selection Committee engages in a comprehensive deliberation process to determine the candidate’s suitability for membership. Successful candidates are then extended an invitation to join the American Juris Society, joining a distinguished cohort of legal professionals committed to excellence and integrity.
The American Juris Society’s selection process is both rigorous and inclusive, ensuring that each member not only meets the highest standards of legal proficiency but also embodies the values that define our esteemed organization.
